Bringing a Simple, Ad-Free QR Code Scanner to Android

At Seyfree, we’re always looking for ways to make everyday tools more user-friendly, private, and accessible. Our latest project is a lightweight Android QR code scanner, designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind. Unlike many apps in the Play Store, ours is completely free, contains no ads, and doesn’t track your activity. The moment you scan a QR code, the link opens automatically, making the process fast, intuitive, and distraction-free.

We started by exploring the countless open source QR scanning libraries available and built upon them to create a version that prioritizes privacy and speed. Every aspect of the app—from the camera integration to the automatic link handling—was refined to ensure a smooth, reliable experience. Right now, we’re in the final stages of testing and polishing the app before its official launch on the Google Play Store. Our goal is to provide a tool that anyone can use without worrying about ads, costs, or unnecessary complexity, staying true to our mission of creating high-quality, user-first mobile applications.
